Vicente Hernandez is a third generation coffee producer who owns Finca Panorama. Unique to this farm is the fact that they grow primarily Pacamara varietals planted in clayey soil.

The Pacamara coffee varietal is a creation of the Salvadoran Institute for Coffee Research (ISIC) back in 1958, which resulted from the crossing of Pacas and the Maragogipe varietals.

Pacamaras are revered for their complex and intense aromas; medium to dense bodies with creamy textures; and elegant acidity with flavors that swing from sweet notes of chocolate and butterscotch to fruitier undertones that remind me of citrics, red berries, and stone fruits.

Since 2009 the Aida Batlle Selection program along with J.Hill Y Cia has tirelessly sourced exceptional coffees. Year after year, the lots to earn the sought after ABS certification are unfailingly snatched up by cutting edge cafes and roasters such as ourselves.

Aida has been a pioneer in applying yeast fermentation to coffee. The experimental Yeast (L7) process yields a more controlled and balanced fermentation of the coffee cherry. Furthermore, it instills even more intense and complex flavors in the cup.

This coffee is a Limited Release and such we suggest you experience it while it lasts!
