This is the epitome of relationship coffee—roaster and farmer working hand in hand, sharing ingenuity and invention. Utilizing an experimental anaerobic fermentation Farmer Bryan Orellana and Coffee Labs Owner Mike Love were able to produce a coffee that is delicate, sweet, clean and heavy on fruit.
This is our fourth year working with direct trade producer Bryan Orellana. In order to influence the flavors of the final cup, Bryan’s farms are populated with looming flowering fruit trees which allow the local bees to cross pollinate with the coffee plants. These farming practices, along with the high altitude create a very unique and enjoyable cup.
