This is not your typical Sumatra.
While most have experience with Mandehling and Gayo Sumatras, few have explored the type known as “Lintong,” which takes its name from its’ home in the District of Lintongnihuta. The altitude in this region is much higher, and yields a much more complex cup.
High-quality Lintong's such as this one have earned credit for their clean mouthfeel, and bright acidity. They also maintain the richer dark chocolate, and fresh earthy notes typical Sumatrans are known for.
Tasting Notes: Dark Chocolate, Black Brandied Cherry, Rose Hip
